Hand-bound. Each page is protected by a sheet of pH-neutral crystal paper to ensure a longevity of almost a century without any alteration of the book.

Hot stamping on the spine as well as on the cover of the book.

A slipcase is made to protect the book.

Print run: 120 numbered and signed copies, accompanied by the separate print “Goodfellas" also numbered and signed by Laurent Durieux.

The entire print run is carried out in the publisher's La Rochelle workshop (France).

The production is entirely artisanal from design to completion.

We produce works in series of 15 to 20 books and boxes per week. Everything is done manually and by hand. The design of a book/box set requires more than 50 different steps.

Here are some examples of the main steps in producing the book:

We receive the double-page packages from our screen printer. Then begins the work of “materializing" the book:

count by pack of 10- first folding- putting into press- cutting of certain pages for wedging/putting into booklet/assembling the book- 2nd putting into press- binding- several stages of gluing the spine- folding and gluing of the 2 endpapers- final cutting of the book…

Creation of the cover and finalization of the book:

cutting of the material and cardboard - tracing - gluing - putting under pressure - 2nd gluing - cutting out - hot printing - new gluing and final assembly - putting under pressure - gluing of the sticker if necessary - last small finishing touches...

The book is finished!
