This attractive volume collects two French albums: Les Vacances du major (1990) et L'Homme du Ciguri (1995).
Les Vacances du major is a collection of Moebius' black & white short stories first published in Metal Hurlant (and, in English, Heavy Metal), including Tueur à gages, Les Mystères de l'érotisme! Le Grand Hôtel "B", Une aventure de John Watercolor, and Split, le petit pionnier de l'espace.
L'Homme du Ciguri was published in English by Dark Horse in 1996 as "The Man from the Ciguri", a sequel to the Airtight Garage.
