"First and foremost, Mike would say he's a cartoonist. It's something he's wanted to do since he was a kid ... write and draw stories. And as a Director, Story and Development Artist, Character Designer, Screenwriter and Animator .. he has been able to do just that in Animation, Toys, and Comics for over two decades ... on Feature Films for Disney ... TV Shows for Nickelodeon, Disney, and Cartoon Network ... designing the "Swampy" character for Disney's "Where's My Water?" game... creating the 2-time Eisner Award-winning book "Herobear and the Kid", and the All-Ages DC Comics Title "Billy Batson and the Magic of Shazam", as well as the recent "Timmy and the Moon Piece" children's book from the Astonish Factory. His designs in television have also won the ANNIE AWARD for Best Character Design in an Animated Television Production.

Mike lives in Southern California where he spends most of his time playing with his family, drawing kids and creatures and trying to learn new magic tricks.
