"Color Scheme Encyclopedia: Color Notes from the Taisho and Showa Periods" is a reprint of Japan's first color scheme collection, "Color Scheme Collection" (1933-1934) by artist Wada Sanzo. This sequel reprints the sister volumes "Color Scheme Collection B" (1934-1935) and "500 Selected New Designs" (1938). In addition to 72 multi-color schemes inspired by the Japanese seasons, the book also presents 161 examples of color schemes from the early Showa period, including clothing, interior design, and graphic design.
