Illustrator Peter Emmerich is presently an Art Director at Dreamworks TV Animation and prior to that held the same position at Walt Disney TV Animation. He enjoyed a long career as a Disney character artist, culminating in an assignment to create a series of Disney-themed postage stamps for the US Postal Service.
This is the third in his Atramento series, which collects his personal ink drawings (atramento is Latin for ink). The theme is men: portraits of sailors and punks, historical figures and everyday people, all observed in Emmerich's trademark bold, sinuous line.
