The first publication of this Chris Ware piece, with each panel presented as a double-page spread, preceded by several pages of his original art with blue line pencil under the ink lines, and followed by several pages of thumbnail layouts. An animation-style running sequence in the corner of the text pages closes the book.

From the back cover:
Comics are not a genre--as they are sometimes still misunderstood--but as a complex image-language borne of solitary, not team, effort through which any story, no matter how muted, can be created on paper and appear to happen right before the reader's very eyes. Chris Ware has decided to introduce with these words "Rusty Brown theme song", his most recent project, which will be presented here, for the first time, as a book.
208 pages / Silkscreened paperback cover
