From the publisher:

Mythical… and terribly modern at the same time!
Circe, daughter of Helios and the Oceanid Perseis, appears mainly in song X of Homer's Odyssey:
"Soon we arrive at the island of Éa, where Circe of beautiful hair lives; Circe, venerable goddess with a melodious voice: Circe, sister of the powerful Aeetes. --Circe and Aeetes were both born of the Sun, who gives light to men, and of Perseus, daughter of the Ocean."
She is presented as a femme fatale who uses her powers and her potions to corrupt Ulysses and his men. Circe will also continue to appear as such in later forms of this myth.
In the version that we present to you here, the story is told from Circe's point of view, placing herself on the side of women confronted with the violence of patriarchal domination.
The screenplay by Richard Marazano and the realistic drawing by Gabriel Delmas revisit this myth and give it modernity, power and relevance.
