The all-Wrightson issue with seven classic stories from the height of his career: The Muck Monster, Clarice, Cool Air, A Martian Saga, The Pepper Lake Monster, The Laughing Man. In these black & white Warren stories, Wrightson developed and practiced the pen & ink style he would use in his Frankenstein illustrations. The cover features a new Wrightson painting entitled "Gentlemen of Adventure Wear Arrow Shirts."
Dark Horse collected Wrightson's Warren stories in 2011, but the source material was the actual printed magazines, not the original plates, so the reproduction quality is not nearly as good as this.
This issue is NOT reprinted in Dark Horse's Creepy Archives Vol. 24.
Our Book grade of Near Fine is equivalent to a Comic Book grade of Very Fine-Near Mint. This comic magazine has just very light cover wear, and is very flat, tight, clean, glossy.
