An Artists' Edition of Richard Corben's most famous work DEN. Fully authorized by the Corben estate. Produced to the highest stands by Delirium BD in France, it features excellent reproduction and it is absolutely beautiful inside and out.
It is completely sold out at the publisher and in stores in France. I used all my wiles and connections to acquire a small supply. I found ONLY two copies in all the BD shops in Paris in January and bought both of them! The only copies appearing on the market now are coming from collectors.
From the crowdfunding campaign:
We have the agreement of the rights holders to offer you a " raw " edition which you can also reserve during this campaign: in large format (28x37.5 cm), it will be a limited edition of 550 copies (+15 Hors Commerce) which will offer the most discerning fans the opportunity to discover the original raw DEN pages , with a minimum of visible restoration, only lettered in French, in order to be able to fully appreciate the work of Richard Corben.
These pages are mostly in B&W, with a limited number of them in direct color. The printing will be entirely done in color so that you can appreciate all the nuances of the materials and the author's retouching.
The raw edition contains the story of DEN Neverwhere with all the original pages (B&W and colors), artist edition style, with French lettering.
