This copy is from Claire's attic. It was one of the copies given to her by the publisher back in 2001. She has signed it in red pencil opposite the half-title page.

Claire's first career retrospective art book covering her first published comic book pages in 1989 through illustrations, character designs, and sketches from 2000.

The book includes rare early comic book work, numerous illustrations for ex-libris, books, and periodicals; poster and print work; work for games (Alone in the Dark, Meta-Barons, Shaan); character and creature designs for animation (Ozma of Oz, Warner Bros., Excalibur, Les Enfants du Feu, Thorgal); and video games; animal drawings; artwork from her exhibition in Los Angeles; studies for her Aphrodite illustrations; and more.

This art book was substantially revised and re-issued as Drawers 2.0 in 2005.

Many of the images in this edition do not appear in the revised edition. Claire chose to redraw most of the pencil drawings in this edition (all of the Ozma and all of the animal drawings) in ink for the revised edition. Both editions are out of print.
