Enjoy a never-before-seen glimpse into the prolific painting practice of legendary film maker Don Hahn. Released in conjunction with the Hahn Solo: The Art of Don Hahn exhibition, this catalogue showcases both digital and traditional artwork from over 30 years of plein-air painting. Hahn captures the beauty of areas such as California's famous Arroyo Seco, Idaho's wild rolling plains, and Europe's picturesque locales encountered during his international travels. His painting style energetically ranges from traditional California Impressionism to bold, graphic explorations in color and line. Prefaced by Hahn's artist statement, the book also gives a glimpse into the history of the 110-year-old painting studio where Hahn works, with a selection of the artist's favorite photographs of the unique venue.

The book is evenly divided between traditional oil paintings and digital paintings.

Don Hahn is a writer/producer/director whose credits include the worldwide phenomenon The Lion King, the classic Beauty and the Beast, the first animated film nominated for a Best Picture Oscar, and Maleficent starring Angelina Jolie. Hahn also served as associate producer of the landmark film Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
