Masae learned that families are often different but love is the same. In this book about family, she reflects through illustration on her fond memories and moments with her family. With 72 pages of illustrations and sketches, "Kin" features many human, animal, and creature designs! Some of these are accompanied by short stories while in others, the pictures tell the tales. She hopes that people will view her illustrations each as a small celebration of love and family in its many forms, and they will also see their own families in some of the illustrations.
