This Tony Sandoval book is great! It's a mix of Edward Gorey and David Lynch that is simultaneously charming and creepy and unsettling. This dreamlike narrative turns into a nightmare for the children and adults who come into contact with the little black Gorey-esque creature or any of the Lovecraftian beasts it conjures up.

A little demon is coming to town, that seems fun and harmless at first. But it has great and terrible secret plans to achieve the domination of our world ... A gallery of colorful characters will find themselves struggling with this little devil, and this will affect the rest of their lives....
