I am a big fan of Argentinean artist Lucas Varela and his previous albums L'Heritage du Colonel and Le jour le plus long du futur (a wordless graphic novel issued in the U.S. as The Longest Day of the Future) have been big sellers for us.

This is a sci-fi tale of a small band of robots, a human survivor, and strange creatures on a savage earth far in the future.

There are twists and surprises, so we have limited what we say here, but this book is highly recommended.

From comixtrip.fr:

June and Robert are two scientists who have been in orbit around the Earth for more than 500,000 years. The goal: wait for earth's ecosystems to recover sufficiently to repopulate the planet and revive civilization. Obviously like any self-respecting science fiction story, this plan takes on water and the mission turns sour.
