Ever Meulen studied graphics at the St. Lucas Institute in Ghent and Brussels, where he would later also teach cartoonists such as Brecht Evens, Brecht Vandenbroucke and Pieter De Poortere. His graphic career began in 1970 at the weekly magazine Humo, for which he still regularly illustrates. Countless comics, drawings, posters and illustrations followed for Oor, Torhout Werchter Festival, The New Yorker, RAW, Liberation and the Mallemunt festival, among others.
