Two complete Steve Canyon adventures: "Taps for 'Shanty' Town (April 12 to July 23, 1956) and "The Girl from Little Dogie" (July 24 to November 28, 1956). The latter story introduces Poteet Canyon. A photograph shows Caniff with his Poteet model. Every strip here was carefully reproduced from Caniff's own studio proof sheets for remarkable clarity. The Sunday strips include Caniff's interesting out-of-the panel linework that can be seen no where else. Edited and designed by Peter Poplaski. This is an 8.5 x 11" horizontal squarebound book, the penultimate Steve Canyon volume published by Kitchen Sink Press.
