Back in the early 1980s, when Another Rainbow launched the world-famous Carl Barks Library, it was decided to run off some extra color copies of the color plates used in printing the set and they were packaged into portfolios

19 plates reproduce individual Uncle Scrooge comic book covers in a large format perfect for framing and display.
1 plate reproduces the Uncle Scrooge slipcase cover in a large format perfect for framing and display.
1 plate reproduces four Uncle Scrooge comic book covers on one side and a Barks' oil painting on the other.

Plates are in mint condition. Envelope is in Very Good condition.

The portfolio of art contained in this envelope reproduces twenty-three covers, from The Carl Barks Library of Walt Disney's Uncle Scrooge (Set IV), which originally appeared on Uncle Scrooge comic books from 1958-1963. Nineteen of these covers, all by Barks, appear in a large 12.75' x 9.25'format for the first time. Every effort has been made to make these untrimmed recreations look as if Carl had colored them himself.

Also included in this portfolio is a copy of the new slipcase cover drawn and colored by Barks, especially for the Library. The reverse pages include Uncle Scrooge one page gags, examples of Barks' oil paintings, and more.
