A follow-up to "Adventurous World of Zdenek Burian" and "The Wonderful World of Zdenek Burian," this third massive volume (9 1/2" x 13" and 508 pages) reproduces Burian's exceptional illustrations from the original art.
The text is in Czech, but the majority of the book is taken up reproducing over 450 paintings and illustrations by Burian. It includes his lesser known works and includes unpublished sets of illustrations, western covers, and costume designs for the first Czechoslovak color film as well as designs for an opera, which was never produced. It also reproduces in 89 pages the covers of the 1,070 books for which Burian illustrated the covers and/or did interior art.
Published in 2020, the book is out of print from the Czech publisher.
