An above average copy of a fragile oversize title, typically found well worn. Tucked inside is a 3.5x7-inch slip of medium weight drawing paper on which Jeffrey Jones has written his "New Address" in Bearsville, NY and his phone number, all in his distinctive script. A swell little extra.

This is the famous and scarce monograph on the four artists who shared a studio space in New York and became known collectively as "The Studio": Jeffrey Jones, Michael Kaluta, Barry Windsor-Smith, and Berni Wrightson.

The book is divided into four 36-page sections—one for each artist. Published in 1979, with each artist responsible for their own section, the emphasis is on their 1970s fine art style illustration work for limited edition prints and portfolios, most of which were only available as expensive limited editions, and many of which have not been reproduced since.
