I was immediately attracted to this book by the charming design of the tiger characters. In a departure from Scott's previous books, most of the artwork is in pencil and transparent watercolor which brings a nice sunniness to his work. Scott is the creator of many graphic novels including the Magic Pickle series for children and produces art books like The Ancient Book of Myth and War. He manages to do all this while simultaneously working in story and design at Pixar.
