A very limited edition animation art book devoted to the late Hanna-Barbera animation writer and story artist Tony Benedict. Produced by the Florence animation school Nemo Academy.
This volume is profusely illustrated with vintage photographs and hundreds of gag cartoons by Benedict from his UPA days through his long tenure at Hanna-Barbera, including many photographs and cartoons of his colleagues at HB.
Benedict spent a decade at Hanna-Barbera from the late fifties through the sixties. He contributed writing and boards to The Flintstones, Top Cat, The Jetsons, Magilla Gorilla, Huckleberry Hound, and countless shorts. He is also the creator of one of The Jetsons‘ most popular characters, Astro. He left to produce his own animated films and then returned to Hanna-Barbera for another decade.
