The English language edition of the French publisher Glenat's series of one-shot albums paying homage to Disney's classic characters. With incredible art by our friend Nico Keramidas!

From the publisher:

Acclaimed French cartoonists Lewis Trondheim and Nicolas Kéramidas present a mind-bending Duckburg graphic novel!

When Donald grouses that money will never buy Uncle Scrooge happiness, Scrooge snaps -- and sets Donald on a treasure hunt for happiness itself. A terrible task for an unlucky Duck… or is it? With help from Professor Ludwig Von Drake, deep in the cranky kingdom of Brutopia -- the impossible may be possible!

Presented as a "lost" 1960s Disney story -- complete with retro-style color -- Donald's Happiest Adventures bristles with wit in the Carl Barks tradition… and bustles with the whole Disney comics cast, including friends and rivals Gladstone Gander, Mickey Mouse, and Pegleg Pete!

Lewis Trondheim, one of France's most prolific and critically-acclaimed cartoonists as well as one of the co-founders of the comics publisher L'Association, lives and works in Montpellier, France. He won the career-spanning Angouleme International Comics Festival's Grand Prize in 2006.

Nicolas Kéramidas studied animation at the Gobelins School of Images, then went on to nine years of animation work at Disney's Montreuil studio. More recently, Kéramidas was the artist for Luuna, which won the Youth Prize at the 2004 Angouleme International Comics Festival.
