This is a new, completely revised version of Pierre Lambert's art book devoted to Walt Disney's 1940 animated film Pinocchio. Lambert has replaced a third of the images from the first book and all the remaining artworks were rephotographed and are reproduced much larger than in the first book. This new edition is a massive 17 1/2 x 17 1/2 inch hardcover, gloss coating on selected images, 4 fold-outs and a cel on a production background.
Publication is strictly limited to the 750 copies of this edition. It will not be reprinted in any other language.
Here is a collector's treasure: an exceptional and rare work.
Pierre Lambert has created seven lavish coffee table art books devoted to Walt Disney Studios: Pinocchio (1995), Mickey Mouse (1998), Snow White (2000), The Golden Age (2006), The Jungle Book (2009), Sleeping Beauty (2013), and Bambi (2017).
With this sublime collector's edition, Pierre Lambert and his publisher Les Editions Granovsky have created the most lavish, ultimate version of Lambert's Pinocchio.
At 17.5 x 17.5 inches, this new version is a third larger than the first version--and much larger than Pinocchio's 12-field animation paper and cels (11 x 13 inches)--allowing many of the elements to be reproduced full size!
