A very attractive first printing of Caza's first album, published in 1970 by Eric Losfeld Editeur, the visionary Paris publisher of Barbarella, Jodelle, Saga de Xam, and other psychedelic pop art bande dessinee. [Losfeld's tombstone inscription reads, "Tout ce qu'il éditait avait le souffle de la liberté." ("Everything he edited had the breath of freedom.").]

Much different stylistically than Caza's work for Metal Hurlant/Heavy Metal commencing only five years later, Kris Kool is an incredible pop-art hallucinogenic psychedelic trip.

"Kris Kool, a traveler-adventurer who in his life has seen things that we humans cannot even imagine, is also a spaceship pilot looking for his next job. But this time he met the wrong people along the way and now he is castaway on the run, on an unknown planet. He will face several psychedelic mishaps to stay alive and nobody knows if he will find his way back home."

Kris Kool was recently reprinted in Italian and English with new coloring and a new design.
